Our readers have heard of Black Holes in space, but few have heard of White Holes. In 2006, scientists saw an explosion of white light in deep space, a huge gamma ray burst which was not part of a supernova. This light show lasted for about 1.5 minutes – a really long time for this type of occurrence! Could this have been a White Hole? Technically and mathematically possible but no-one really knows!
Our fascination with the theory of white holes matches with our desire to shine a bright, new light on the news in a short and precise, easily readable format for you. We hope you enjoy our bright star shining a light into a dark universe!
